I took memantine at 5 mg for 4 days and it has completely ruined my life.
It has given me constant heavy fatigue and suicidal ideation for months on end. In the beginning it had my vitals swinging up and down.
It completely ruined my gut motility so that I cannot digest most food properly anymore, especially fat. The heavy constipation is constantly adding fatigue and making me feel terrible now for many months.
It made it so I cannot tolerate any medication I used to tolerate without breaking down for a prolonged time afterwards. It destroyed my ambition and energy and has left me mostly bed-bound and disabled for 9 months now.
I cannot work or do much of anything anymore. The constipation is giving me elevated blood pressure almost constantly, which is making my heart issues worse as well.
