Venlafaxine induced bipolar disorder

Prescribed Venlafaxine as an adolescent suffering severe depression, which was a consequence of years of violent and cruel abuse at the hands of an alcoholic father, from a very young age. Instead of therapy to address the traumatic psychological injuries I had sustained, I was given this drug. Shortly after I developed prolonged and recurring psychoses, leading to the permanent loss of legal custody of my baby.
