I took Cipro and it led to 2 strokes and 4 brain surgeries

Age: 56–65  ·  Duration of use: Less than 1 month  ·  Current status: No, have stopped
Symptoms: Stroke, Brain surgery x4, Bed bound, Feeding tube

I had an infection from a dog bite and was given Cipro. Other than this I was in perfect health and never even had a cold for the past 25 years.

On October 7, 2025, two days after taking Cipro, I had 2 massive strokes at my cerebellum and 2 craniotomies within 24 hours. They had to scrape part of my brain tissue next to my brain stem and remove a lot of bone. It's a miracle I am alive. I am on a feeding tube and bed bound, but trying to do therapy.

I was sent to a nursing home where I was physically assaulted by 3 nurses where they held me down by my arms and legs to force a G tube feed and flush which I was verbally refusing and pushing it away. This was even written in their chart notes.

I had to have a brain shunt and then a revision of the shunt after I was physically attacked by the nurses. They were fired that day and the police and APS were called. They both failed me by writing inaccurate reports and the APS report was completely made up. My daughter was present and the report was fraudulent.

My wife is now my caregiver and dedicated to defending those who cannot defend themselves in the healthcare system. She is building a patient centered platform that will teach everyone how to advocate, document and report when they are abused and neglected in any healthcare setting.

She is meeting with State Representatives in Arizona to change the law so patients can wear a body cam that feeds to a private vault that only the patient and their representative can access. She is also trying to meet with CMS and the HHS committee so all of America can have this protection.
