Symptoms: Psychosis, Hallucinating, Hearing voices
I recently had a major episode of amphetamine psychosis due to taking Adderall, under legally prescribed conditions (for life long ADHD) by a Marin County psychiatrist who is under probation for overprescribing and neglecting the needs of his patients. The episode resulted in me being arrested multiple times and losing my home, among other incidents including situations that were ultimately life threatening. I was completely "out of my mind" hallucinating and delusional, the episode lasted nearly a year.
I was completely unaware (Anosognosia) of my mental state and thought everything that my mind was creating was completely real. I thought I was under surveillance and a targeted individual who was also a form of classified individual. I ended up abandoning my family and boarding an airplane for Russia, and came close to crossing the border from Ukraine. I had multiple episodes where I hit myself in the head repeatedly. I had no idea this medication was capable of producing "psychosis" and was never informed of these risks.
