I'd like to share my story with you.
I took Isotretinoin (20mg) for just over 3 months (Aug 2021). I stopped taking it early because my headaches became unbearable. Weeks/months later, it all started.
At first, I didn't know what was wrong "with me", I didn't recognize myself anymore, and I no longer felt like "myself." After a lot of research, it became clear to me that the cause was isotretinoin. (I had that kind of a feeling for a while.) I was shocked when I saw how big the community is of those who are affected by the long-term damage.
My side effects continue to this day, just to name a few: joint pain, CFS, hair loss (Lichen planopilaris/LPP), headaches, tinnitus, gum recession, dizziness, shingles, microhematuria, petechiae, loss of libido, anemia, leukopenia, concentration difficulties, suicidal thoughts, rapid (skin) aging (cell/mitochondria death, tissue loss), straw-like, thinning hair, light sensitivity, dry eyes (MGD), insomnia, joint and muscle atrophy, personality changes, akathisia, Raynaud's syndrome, autoimmune disease.
The list is long and even longer.
I took 20mg for about 3 months.
