My name is Dr. Mark Ghalili, DO, and I am a board certified medical doctor whose life was changed in an instant after taking the antibiotic ciprofloxacin.
I never imagined that a commonly prescribed fluoroquinolone antibiotic could leave me fighting for my life, but that is exactly what happened. I went from being a healthy, active physician with a promising future to experiencing a devastating collapse that affected nearly every part of my body. I lost strength, lost function, and found myself facing a level of suffering that most people, including many doctors, could never understand unless they had lived through it themselves.
What made this experience even more painful was realizing how unprepared the conventional medical system was to recognize or meaningfully help patients suffering from fluoroquinolone toxicity. Even as a doctor, I had to learn the hard way that patients with serious pharmaceutical injuries are often dismissed, minimized, or pushed toward more medications instead of true answers. I came face to face with the reality that much of modern medicine is designed to manage symptoms and keep people dependent, rather than help them achieve real healing.
That experience changed the course of my life forever. It forced me to search beyond the limits of conventional care and led me to the world of cutting edge regenerative medicine. In that journey, I discovered therapies focused on repair, restoration, and recovery. Stem cell therapy became one of the most important turning points in my healing and played a meaningful role in helping me regain function and rebuild my life.
Out of that suffering, Regenerative Medicine LA was born. I built this practice because I knew there were countless patients just like me who had been failed by the traditional system and left without hope. I wanted to create the kind of clinic I wish had existed when I was at my lowest—one that looked deeper, treated the root cause, and used the most advanced regenerative strategies available to support healing.
My personal battle gave me a completely different perspective as a physician. It taught me what it feels like to be dismissed. It taught me what it means to suffer without answers. And it taught me that some of the most injured patients in the world are the very ones conventional medicine is least equipped to help. That is why I have dedicated my life to treating patients with debilitating conditions from across the globe, including thousands suffering from pharmaceutical, vaccine, and antibiotic injuries.
What happened to me was one of the hardest experiences of my life, but it also became my purpose. It opened my eyes to the failures and corruption within the conventional medical system and pushed me to build something different. Today, through Regenerative Medicine LA, I fight every day to help patients reclaim their health, their function, and their lives using the same principles of regenerative healing that helped save me.
