Keppra injured my heart and muscles through year long low phosphate

Age: 46–55  ·  Duration of use: 5+ years  ·  Current status: No longer taking
Symptoms: PVC 7.5%, RBBB, left anterior fascicular block, bifascicular block, muscle weakness, difficulty breathing, cold induced chest pain with increased pre-syncope, sleep disruption due to chest pain

I started Keppra in 2019 and developed heart problems that made me jump out of bed when I slept in 2023. I waited until July 2024 when I was blacking out (pre-syncope) a few times per minute. This was purely to prevent a misdiagnosis of anxiety, so I waited until I was certain my EKG was abnormal. At the ER, they found out my phosphate was 1.8 (normal 2.7-4.5). The ER doctor did not know the cause, and the nurse said I had research to do to figure out why my phosphate was low. During my 4 hour IV phosphate infusion I found the journal that shows Keppra lowers phosphate (Jeyakumar et al. (2014), Impact of levetiracetam on bone health: A descriptive study)

Phosphate supplements put me into respiratory failure and gave me seizures (refeeding syndrome) from prolonged low phosphate. My body couldn’t handle normal phosphate, nor increased ATP production. This medication gave me permanent heart problems described in the symptoms section. I also put this information, my medical records, and a bunch of negligent mistakes made by Kaiser on my research website at: smokable-research.com/my-medical-injury-case
